Andingamai Figure, Angoram Village, New Guinea. This image of the Creator Spirit is carved with clan symbols and important ancestors on the head and base.  This specific design is owned by the family of the now long deceased headman, Billy Kitten, who carved the original figure many years ago.

This nicely done Billy Kitten-style figure is beautifully carved and covered with clan totemic animals and ancestor images. Painted with village-made dark paint. It is 19.5 inches tall.
