Another beautiful pig tusk necklace carved by a member of the Liversidge family. Geoff Liversidge and his sons are renowned for their artwork. They are considered by some to be the most skilled family of carvers working in New Guinea today. They use traditional forms yet add their own style to each piece. This one depicts a crocodile and has mother of pearl insets. The ebony carving is a bird head with a mother of pearl inset eye. The tusk is 4.75 inches across.
